This books takes a journey in its making. Watercolor paper is stenciled with matte medium. When that is dry, mark-marking tools, dipped in ink, are swiped across and around the paper creating an abstract design. The final step, after the paper is torn into small pieces, includes making marks with pen and the Asemic writing. The paper is folded in various sizes and held together with a ribbon and button. This book measures 7” x 12”.
This art book could also be used as a journal.

Asemic writing might be simply making marks that look like words or lines. It might also be actual words written so close together l it is difficult or impossible to read. Please notice in the pictures.
